Drs Anna Bon (Network Institute/ Computer Science Department/ CIS-VU) has more than ten years of  teaching experience, (i) at VUA as a lecturer (ii) as an independent consultant and trainer in ICT industry (IBM) (iii) at universities, and higher education institutes and for NGOs, and farmers and rural communities in African countries. She gave lectures, and organized workshops and group trainings at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, at polytechnics in Ghana, at the Anton de Kom University of Suriname, at the ESAP in Colombia, and at Jimma University in Ethiopia. In collaboration with lecturers from the Computer Science Department of VUA she initiated, coordinates and lectures the “ICT for Development” course for master students in information science. In 2014 she chaired the First International Symposium “Perspectives on ICT4D” at the VUA Network Institute.
