Strengthening Higher Agricultural Education in Africa
Exploring partnerships with Moi University in Kenya and with the University of Ghana

African governments and regional universities united in the RUFORUM-platform have recently launched a call for proposals to Strengthen Higher Agricultural Education for Agri-Food Systems Transformation in Africa (SHAEA), supported by the World Bank.
The Amsterdam Centre for World Food Studies (ACWFS) and the Centre for International Cooperation (CIS-VU) are exploring partnerships under the SHAEA initiative with the University of Legon in Ghana and the Moi University in Kenya. Face-to-face discussions about the partnership took place during RUFORUM’s Biennial Conference (Nairobi, 22-26 October 2018), in which Bart van den Boom participated, see the picture above.
